Description

Originally composed somewhere between 1761 and 1765 for Haydn's long-time friend and cellist Joseph Weigl, Cello Concerto number 1 in C was presumed lost until 1961 when a copy of the manuscript was discovered in the Prague National Museum.

This arrangement has been written with virtuosity in mind by tenor horn soloist and clinician Owen Farr.
